The Founder hopes to establish rolling capital through sucessful business to carry out public welfare projects. By promoting and establishing businesses that can generate wealth, HKSEF provides outstanding management and technical talents who lack funds with an opportunity to become middle-class or even successful entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship. Through this model, it brings a continuous source of funds to HKSEF so the purpose of HKSEF can be implemented, which is to promote education and carry out training and poverty alleviation projects. Ultimately the talented are provided opportunities to create wealth and the sustainable development of enterprises and HKSEF could be maintained.

As a capital-based social enterprise, the board of directors of HKS International Company Limited (hereafter "HKSI") is committed to balancing the company's continued profit growth with the funding needs of HKSEF. Since 2005, HKSI's profits have been directly invested in HKSEF's public welfare projects. By establishing this sustainable capital-based social enterprise platform, HKSI demonstrates how a commercial enterprise can support social welfare development. It is hoped that more companies would refer to HKSI's operating model and make more and sustainable commitments to promote a balanced wealth distribution.

The fund carries out different projects and advocates the "social enterprise" model. It not only provides seed entrepreneurial funds for companies that agree with its philosophy and operating model, but also discovers and supports talents, shares the results with investors and participants (small shareholders and employees), and exerts their full potential. HKSEF uncovers the positive side of human beings and creates more middle class, promotes equal wealth and creates a harmonious society. 為達到基金會運作的可持續性，偉新公司制定原則處理股東和員工利益分配，建立一個五贏平台， 實現五方受惠的理念：一) 為公益事務提供經費；二) 優才有創業機會，成為股東；三) 員工得到績效獎金及紅利；四) 對國家有稅款貢獻；五) 投資者亦可得到合理回報，藉由發展產業，開拓經費來源；從而達到經費自主，確保基金會運作的可持續性。
