親愛的主內弟兄與姐妹：
這是我們2007年休士頓短宣隊的代禱信。請把隊員放在你的禱告裡，讓我們向 神禱告，因他國度的旨意，我們能被祂使用。讓我們一起同工，帶出父神對休士頓華人社區的愛與恩典。祈願失喪的人能被尋回，回到神身邊。
此次短宣隊與主悅靈糧堂的正式主題是：
復興我 – 敬拜更新特會
(休士頓主悅靈糧堂今年稍早曾舉辦一次特會叫做“充滿我—聖靈更新特會”，所以趙牧師決定將此次特會結合起來成為一個系列)
禱告領域—請禱告直到事情發生為止
1. 請禱告所有的在休士頓教會的弟兄姐妹的信心能夠增長。讓我們向神請求供應他們智慧與勇氣在休士頓華人社區能夠宣講福音。讓我們請求
神的聖靈能持續在當地的弟兄姐妹身上動工，賜給他們一個永不衰竭的聖靈能力，與一個更新的靈。
2. 請為短宣隊團員禱告：亞辰(James), 文絢(Wenshian), 姿婷(Andrea), 承哲(Geoffrey), 道穎(Esther), 王昶(Charlie), 蘭馨 (Nancy), 永榕(Winston), 徐清(Qing), 幸慧(Julie), 樹杰(Jack),明曄(Ming-Yeh), 祥非(Philip), 若薇(Grace) 與以祥(David)，在短宣隊期間能有完全的預備。請禱告神將賞賜給我們憐憫與遵從的靈。請求神釋放我們的驕傲，幫助我們成為謙卑的僕人。敬請禱告我們將在我們將所做的事上，倚賴祂的指引與恩典。
3. 請求神潔淨我們與完全洗淨我們所有被邪靈轄制的綑綁與渴望。請禱告神潔淨我們，奉主耶穌基督的名，幫助我們抵擋撒旦的作為!請求 神預備我們的心思與意念，好在此次短宣隊期間，每天都要服事祂。
4. 請禱告聖靈在我們帶領敬拜、讚美、表演短劇與不同的聚會、節目時，都與我們同在，請禱告我們在這些方面有好的帶領者，
神將使用這些節目來觸摸人心。期望迷失者能被透過這些節目與活動的訊息觸動!
5. 請禱告神保守我們有效率與智慧來預備與演練這些不同的節目與活動。祈盼因著神國的緣故， 神供應我們耐心、毅力與決心來把這些節目與活動完成。請求神供應我們夠用時間與精力來預備此次短宣。
6. 請禱告所有的隊員能夠與休士頓教會會友與朋友們在我們的基督耶穌裡，建立友善的與真誠的關係，請求神供應我們能力與休士頓教會的不同年齡層的朋友，都能彼此安慰、勸勉與造就。
7. 請特別在行程中的4月6-8日期間紀念所有短宣隊員，請求神的聖靈與我們同在，我們就可以彼此鼓勵並為神的國度贏得人心! 也請為所有隊員的安全與所有旅行期間的後勤預備禱告。
「凡事都是為你們，好叫恩惠因人多越發加增，感謝格外顯多，以致榮耀歸與神。」(歌林多後書第四章第15節)
「我們不仗著別人所勞碌的，分外誇口；但指望你們信心增長的時候，所量給我們的界限，就可以因著你們更加開展，得以將福音傳到你們以外的地方；並不是在別人界限之內，藉著他現成的事誇口。」(歌林多後書第十章第15-16節)

2007年休士頓短宣隊
Dear
Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
This is the prayer letter for the Houston 2007
Mission Trip Team. Please keep the Team and its members in your prayers. Let’s
pray that God will use us for the purpose of His Kingdom. Let’s all work
together to bring the love and grace of our God the Father to the Chinese
Community in Houston; may the lost
be brought back to God.
The official theme of the mission
trip and the church conference is:
Revitalize Me – Worship
& Reviving Conference
(Our Church in Houston had a
conference earlier this year called “Fill me Up – Renewed by the Spirit”. So Pastor Byron Zhao decided to make this a
series)
Prayer Areas – Please pray until something happens (PUSH!)
1. Let’s pray for all the brothers and sisters at our Church in Houston in their growth
in faith. Let’s ask God to provide them with wisdom and boldness to proclaim
the Gospel to the Houston Chinese Community. Let’s ask for God’s Holy Spirit to
be constantly working among the brothers and sisters there, and to give them an
inexhaustible reservoir of holy energy and a renewing spirit
2. Please pray for our Team members (James, Wenshian, Andrea, Geoffrey,
Esther, Charlie, Nancy, Winston, Qing, Julie, Jack, Ming-Yeh, Philip, Grace, David)
throughout the preparation and during the trip. Please pray that God will have
mercy on us and give us an obedient spirit. Please ask God to rid of our pride
and help us to become humbler servants. Please pray that we will rely on His
guidance and grace in things that we will be doing.
3. Please ask that God cleanse us and completely wash away all evil
bondages and desires from the team members. Please pray that God purify us and
help us resist Satan’s actions in Jesus’ name! Please ask God to prepare our
hearts and minds everyday to serve Him on this mission trip.
4. Please pray that the Holy Spirit be with us in our leading worships,
praises, dramas and different other conference programs. Please pray that we
will be good leaders in those areas and that God will use these programs to
touch people’s heart. May the lost be moved by the message conveyed through
these programs!
5. Please pray that God will grant us with efficiency and wisdom in
preparing and rehearsing for the different conference programs. May God provide
us with patience, persistence and determination in performing work for His
Kingdom. Please ask God to provide us with time and energy throughout the
preparation of our mission trip.
6. Please pray that the Team will be able to establish friendly and
genuine relationship with the people of our Church in Houston through our
Lord Jesus Christ. Please ask God to provide us with the ability to encourage,
build and counsel the people of different age groups at Houston.
7. Please especially remember the Team between April 6th and
8th. Please ask God’s Sprit be with us so that we can encourage and
win back people for His Kingdom! Please also pray for the Team’s safety and the
logistics throughout our trip.
All this is for your benefit, so that
the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to
overflow to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 4:15)
Our hope is that, as your faith
continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, so
that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. (2 Corinthians
10:15-16)
