Dear brothers and sisters

How is your life? and How is your life of prayers? I recently received a clip of video that urges to pray for our nation and this generation. Although some part of the message might bring some questions, it indeed reminded me the importance of prayers.

Last Sunday my pastor shared his mission experience in China, and one video clip he showed us was scene of praying. In my pastor’s sharing and also other mission trip testimonies, one thing I notice, besides God’s great work of gospel there, is the habit of praying. In many places in China or Southeast Asia, Christians would get up so early, at the hour like 3 or 5am, to pray. It really amazes me, but at the same time I feel very ashamed. I pray so little. It’s no surprise that revival does not come…

In the United States, it seems too comfortable to pray. But if we look carefully at news, we’d found how much the US needs Prayers. (This is what the video would talk about, which I’ve included at the end) And it’s the same for Taiwan. (Don’t you feel so disappointed every time when you watch news?) So since today, I will pay more attention to my praying habit, and I want to make it at least one hour a day. Like what Jesus said, “Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?” (Matthew 26:40)

Let’s encourage each other to pray!
